Martin Luther king was one of the top civil rights activists. Martin Luther was mainly known for leading protests like the March on Washington where he gave his famous I have a dream speech. Martin luther never gave up on the civil rights movement

John Lewis was one of the main leaders of the civil rights movement standing right beside Martin Luther King. John Lewis was also one of the many others that spoke along side of Martin Luther king at the march on Washington protest

john F. Kennedy

John F. Kennedy was one of the first president's to stand for civil rights. He guaranteed equal access to public facilities and helped end segregation. Shortly after doing this he was killed.

Rosa parks

Rosa Parks refused to give up her seat to a white man while on a bus which started the huge protest of the Montgomery boycott. From there on she was known as a civil rights activist and attended the march on Washington protest.
