Fair Housing Act of 1968

The fair housing act of 1968 ended housing discrimination and made it Illegal to rent or sell houses to any person of any race. So this act basically ended redlining.

1970

Civil Rights Act Of  1964

The Civil Rights Act of 1964 outlawed discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex or national origin.This Civil Rights Act/Law is known for ending civil rights in public and work places.

Civil rights act of 1957

This law protects voter rights and made it so that people of color could vote

1963 the Equal Pay Act

This act promises equitable wages to people of any race, color, religion, origin or sex.
